Oprah was born on January 29, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi. When she was little, she was very poor. She also had born to unwed teenage parents and in segregated society. Oprah’s grandmother taught her how to read when she was little. In her childhood time, after she was an Academy Award, she got inspire and wanted to change for a better life like the young African American actor receive the award.
